Collection of the Artists

The members of Numen For Use Design Collective consist of artists/ designers, Sven Jonke, Christoph Katzler and Nikola Radeljkovic, who work with different artistic disciplines ranging from theatre, industrial design and works inspired by outer space. Their artistic creations are developed from experimentations in stage design using adhesive tapes, mirrors and aluminum sheets. Such projects place viewers as part of the installation through the use of surfaces that render depth and dimension. Numen For Use has gained recognition across Europe and Asia.

At Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, a gigantic structure is made of adhesive tape stretching from ceiling to floor. Entering inside the cocoon-like enclosure, the viewers experience sensations of sight, sound, touch and smell. Crawling inside thick and translucent tunnels becomes a journey of self-awareness and facilitates a sense of rebirth.

ในบางกอก อาร์ต เบียนนาเล่ ครั้งนี้ ประติมากรรมขนาดใหญ่ที่ทำขึ้นจากเทปที่ติดจากผนังจรดพื้นจะถูกนำมาติดตั้งที่หอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร การเดินเข้าไปในถ้ำคล้ายรังไหมจะกระตุ้นให้คนดูได้สัมผัสกับแสง เสียง สัมผัส และกลิ่น เป็นประสบการณ์ของการเดินทางค้นหาตัวตนและการเกิดใหม่
