Anupong Charoenmitr

Anupong Charoenmitr finished his Bachelor of Art in Fine Art Photography at Rangsit University, Bangkok and Master of Art in Fine Art at the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts at Silpakorn University. His work comes from private interests and previous experience of self-perceived of the course of things as well as social and collective memories of people.
Anupong was selected for Cross Stitch, an exhibition for young artists initiated by the Bangkok Art and Culture Center (Bangkok, 2013). He has exhibited internationally i.e. Incubarte7 by LA Metro Gallery (Spain, 2015) and 5 MINUTES International Short Video Biennial by P74 Gallery (Slovenia,2015). He received 1st prize at International Video Festival, Digitalbigscreen, 2015 at Trbovlje New-Media City (TNM), (Slovenia,2015).
His work was selected as one of 10 finalists in the video section of the international Arte Laguna Prize (Italy, 2014), and was selected as one of three finalists in Digital/video section of Prudential Eye Awards at ArtScience Museum (Singapore, 2016). Anupong was awarded winner prize for the Artist residency of “Early Years 1: Thisorder” by the Bangkok Art and Culture Center (BACC, Bangkok, 2017). Currently, he is a full-time lecturer for the Visual Effects Branch, Faculty of Digital Art at Rangsit University.

อนุพงศ์ เจริญมิตร จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีจากคณะศิลปกรรม มหาวิทยาลัยรังสิต และปริญญาโท สาขาวิชาทัศนศิลป์ คณะจิตรกรรม ประติมากรรมและภาพพิมพ์ฯ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร กรุงเทพฯ ปัจจุบันเป็นอาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิชวลเอฟเฟค คณะดิจิทัลอาร์ท มหาวิทยาลัยรังสิต ผลงานของอนุพงศ์ เกิดจากความสนใจและประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว เกี่ยวกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงและความไม่แน่นอนของสิ่งต่างๆ ตลอดจนเรื่องสังคมและความทรงจำร่วมกันของผู้คน เขาทำงานใช้สื่อภาพถ่ายและวิดีโอเป็นหลัก งานของเขามักมีการนำเสนอภาพที่มีมุมมองที่ลึกและลวงตาทั้งในงานภาพถ่ายและวิดีโอ ถ่ายทอดชีวิตผู้คนธรรมดาที่อาจไม่เป็นที่จดจำในสังคม ในสภาวะแวดล้อม วัฒนธรรมและบริบทของเมืองที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไป
อนุพงศ์สร้างผลงานศิลปะและส่งเข้าร่วมโครงการประกวดและนิทรรศการต่างๆ อย่างต่อเนื่อง อาทิเช่น
- พ.ศ.2556 นิทรรศการกลุ่มศิลปินรุ่นใหม่ Cross Stitch ที่หอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร
- พ.ศ. 2557 เข้ารอบสิบคนสุดท้ายการประกวดงานวิดีโอที่ Arte Laguna Prize, เวนิส อิตาลี
- พ.ศ. 2558 ร่วมแสดงในนิทรรศการ Incubarte7 by La Metro Gallery สเปน
- นิทรรศการ 5 Minutes International Short Video Biennial ที่แกลลอรี่ P74 สโลเวเนีย
- พ.ศ. 2559 เข้ารอบ 3 คนสุดท้าย หมวดวิดีโอ/ดิจทัลอาร์ท Prudential Eye Awards ที่ Art and Science Museum
- สิงคโปร์ พ.ศ.2560 ได้รับทุน Artist Residency จากโครงการ “Early Years Project 1: Thisorder” 2017 จากหอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร
- ร่วมแสดงใน The W:OW Project, Kochi Musziris Biennial 2016/17
