In BAB 2018, each artist’s work still pertains to reflections on the way of life, beauty and hope for peace in the southernmost region of Thailand and the role of Muslimah in the part of healing. Heedayah employs drawings on local dry hays picturing the care and concerning facial expression of her mother, while Keeta prefers mixed-uses of drawing and printing on paper retelling the way of Muslimah’s living. In a basrelief appeal, Kusofiyah prints various emblems and motifs on paper folded into forms of people in their routine works to convey her hometown’s plural culture, whereas Nuriya’s stiched cloth and batik work discloses people’s anxiety towards current situations. Lastly, Arichama’s bond with the Musilim faith and her family’s fishing occupation is richly translated in her open-ended cloth of tying organic threads.

กลุ่มมุสลิมะห์ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวของสังคมผู้หญิงมุสลิมในพื้นที่สามจังหวัดภาคใต้ที่เหตุการณ์ความรุนแรงไม่มีทีท่าว่าจะสงบลงในเร็ววัน ผ่านงานศิลปะในหลายๆ เทคนิค ทั้งงานถัก งานเย็บและย้อมผ้า งานภาพพิมพ์สื่อผสมและประติมากรรมกระดาษ สำหรับบางกอก อาร์ต เบียน-นาเล่ ผลงานของศิลปินแต่ละคนยังคงสะท้อนวิถีชีวิต ความงาม และความหวังที่จะใช้ชีวิตอย่างสงบและสันติสุขในพื้นที่จังหวัดชายแดนใต้ ฮิดายะห์ใช้หญ้าแห้งเป็นแผ่นผืนรองรับภาพใบหน้าแม่ของเธอที่เต็มไปด้วยความรักปนกับความกังวลใจ คีต์ตาเลือกถ่ายทอดวิถีชีวิตของผู้หญิงในพื้นที่สามจังหวัดฯ ด้วยเทคนิควาดเส้นผสมกับ การเย็บมือ กูซอฟียะฮ์วาดภาพลงบนกระดาษก่อนจะประกอบเข้าด้วยกันเป็นจิตรกรรมที่มีปริมาตรเพื่อถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวในชีวิตประจำวันที่งดงามในสังคมพหุวัฒนธรรม นูรียาสะท้อนความกังวลและ ผลกระทบจากความไม่สงบผ่านงานผ้าเย็บมือและการย้อมบาติก รูปทรงสิ่งของในชีวิต ร่องรอย บาดแผลและการเยียวยา และอริชมาถ่ายทอดความศรัทธาในศาสนาอิสลามและวิถีชีวิตของครอบครัวชาวประมง ด้วยการผูก มัด และถักเส้นใยธรรมชาติที่ใช้กันในงานประมงเป็นผืนผ้าขนาดใหญ่ที่ต่อไปไม่จบสิ้น
