Annee Olofsson is one of the leading artists in Scandinavia who works in photography and video art. Olofsson uses her body and members of her family as the subjects of her photographic works and videos as she explores different issues surrounding the relationships in the human’s smallest social unit. She critiques the tensions of solitude, time and age, especially death, through super realistic and dramatic photographs. Black is the color used to reflect an apprehension for the inevitable death.

For the Bangkok Art Biennale, Olofsson interprets Beyond Bliss through photographs and video related to intimacy, mourning and death.
