Latthapon Korkiatarkul’s was first recognized in the Brand New Art Project 2012 hosted by Bangkok University. His subject matter concerns meanings of economically valuable and invaluable objects. His works provoke questioning about life and things that are a part of it. In ‘Quality’ (2018), Lattaphon laboriously scraped 24 banknotes of different currencies and mixed values to comment on money in each currencies which have different qualities and worths. The powder of the banknotes becomes a residue of happiness that once had so much monetary value. Bliss for Lattaphon, can be attained through the labor of the devaluation of cash.

ลัทธพล ก่อเกียรติตระกูล เริ่มมีชื่อเสียงจากการเป็นหนึ่งในศิลปินโครงการ Brand New Art Project 2012 ซึ่งจัดโดยมหาวิทยาลัยกรุงเทพ หัวข้อที่ศิลปินสนใจเกี่ยวกับความหมายของวัตถุที่มีคุณค่าทางเศรษฐกิจและวัตถุที่ไร้คุณค่าทางเศรษฐกิจ และบ่อยๆ ครั้ง ผลงานศิลปะของเขากระตุ้นให้เรากลับมาย้อนคิด ตั้งคำถามเกี่ยวกับชีวิตและสิ่งของรอบตัว ใน ‘Quality’ (2018) ศิลปินนำธนบัตร 24 ใบจาก 24 สกุลเงินมาขูดพื้นผิวออกจนเกลี้ยงเพื่อทำล ายความเหลื่อมล้ำทางมูลค่าของสกุลเงินในแต่ละประเทศ ผงสีจากแต่ละธนบัตรกลายมาเป็นเศษซากของความสุขที่เคยมีคุณค่า ส่วนความสุขสำหรับลัทธพลก็คือ การได้ขูดทำลาย ลดคุณค่าของธนบัตรเหล่านั้นนั่นเอง
